After finishing our "product", we were required to make packaging for it. Our packaging had to be designed to be appealing to people so that they would buy it. In our package, we had to include a barcode, the warnings, and the price, the name of the product , and the logo.
First, I had to plan out the size of the packaging. I measured the cube and added a little bit more to the measurement to ensure it would fit.
With the measurements ready it was time to get to the design part.
For my design i decided to take a more simplistic design. I designed my packaging with Microsoft Publisher. I used a simple striped pattern. I choose the name "The Thought Cube" because I wanted the cube to be a true puzzle and to inspire thought. I choose Atom logo because it is a symbol of science and tought.

Cube
For this project First, we were presented with a desing brief. In the design brief we were presented with a problem, a company need to make a product out of the leftover cubes which were not being used.
In the first part we were given Isometric sketch paper and were the draw sketches for the individual pieces. Here are our constraints:
The cube must be built out of 27 3/4" hardwood cubes.
It must be built out of 6 pieces.
It must must have at least one piece made of 3 blocks, at least one piece made of 4 cubes, at least one piece made of 5 cubes, and at least one piece made of 6 cubes.
No pice could have more than 4 pieces in any direction.
We had to sketch as many possibilities for the pieces as we could. For the piece with 3 cubes there were 2 possible pieces. For the piece with 4 cubes there were _ possibilities. For the piece with 5 cubes there were _ possibilities. For the piece with 6 cubes there were _ possibilities.
Then were given the plastic building blocks to aid us in building an finding the pieces for the actual cube. After this we glues the hardwood cubes into our specific pieces and colored them. We put them together once again and finished the project.

Applied Statistics
In this project we were tasked with measuring 27 3/4" cubes. We used a dial caliper and then recorded our result
Then, we had to find the median, mode, range, and mean.
If you can't read it
Mean: .742"In.
Median:732" In
Mode: 731" In
Range : .031"In
We graphed and recorded our measures.
In the end we had Conclusion questions, which help us understand the point of the exercise.

Cup Project
For this project we had to take an ordinary cup and redesign it by innovating certain aspects of it. In my group we decided that we would add a small container in the bottom of the cup, which you could fill with cold or warm water, in order to give you control over the temperature of the beverage.
Here is the picture
Then We put our ideas on paper, or cardboard, and decorated it. here is the picture
